Ferdinand Hodler did not take the opportunity to paint the picturesque Bachalpsee with the Schreckhorn in the background, but Lorenz Huber did. The famous mountain lake near the First in Grindelwald, 2265 metres above sea level, in which the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn and Grindelwald glacier are reflected on the lake's surface, was painted by him in 2011.
